Cattleya: A type of wild orchid that grows in the jungles from Costa Rica to Argentina.
Boticario: One who dispenses remedies: particularly botanicals.
I am a native of Big Sur, California and in my youth, I returned to the Monterey Peninsula to obtain a Master’s Degree in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Eventually, life happened to pull me in the direction of another great love. I have always been captivated by the medicinal use of plants, and the holistic traditions of skin care throughout the world.
One of my greatest joys in life is nurturing myself and those closest to me. I truly believe that each one of us has an innate connection between mind body, and spirit. The way in which we nurture our bodies internally reflects externally; from the food we chose to ingest, to our thoughts, and our daily practices.
Cattleya Boticario is the creation of my own practices, beliefs, hopes and dreams, and my greatest desire is to help my clients find their rare beauty, inside and out.
I offer practical and sustainable long-term solutions for specific skin issues.
The foundation of my holistic skincare practice is sourced from tradition and based on many years of advanced study to help you find the internal cause of some of today’s most difficult skin conditions.
My philosophy remains that all skin conditions have an internal root-cause. I will be able to help with many difficult skin conditions, such as acne, melasma, eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis. Together, we will devise a plan that suits you and your everyday needs and find something that is practical for your individual lifestyle.
I also offer transformative rituals that leave you feeling deeply relaxed.
If perhaps, you are simply looking to bring serenity to your day, I am happy to provide you with a tranquil
experience as well. All treatments and holistic skin rituals are crafted individually to the particular
needs of you and your skin on the day of service.
If you live out of the area, I am still able to help you from afar, with a virtual skin consultation and continued support. The main focus of Cattleya Boticario remains on holistic skin care and wellness; however, in addition, feel free to inquire about Akashic Record or astrology readings if that happens to pique your interest as well.
